The problem

The phone rings when you can't answer it.

Calls come in while you're with a customer, on another line, out of the office or closed for the night. If nobody picks up, callers don't always wait for a callback.

  • 01

    Voicemail gets skipped

Lots of people hang up at the beep and call the next business on the list.

  • 02

Busy hours are just as bad

The phone rings while your hands are full and someone is waiting in front of you.

  • 03

    Callbacks come too late

By the time you call back, the caller may have already gone somewhere else.

  2. Closed. Calls still get answered.
  3. Answered: question about prices, details texted.

How it works

You run the business. We answer the phone.

Three steps, and you only take part in the first one, a conversation about your business.

  1. Step 01

    We set it up

We learn your business, the questions callers ask, and which calls should come straight to you. We write a greeting that sounds like you and connect your calendar if you take bookings. You don't touch any settings.

  2. Step 02

    It answers every call

When you're busy or closed, it picks up first. It answers common questions, takes detailed messages, books appointments and puts important calls through to you.

  3. Step 03

    You stay in the loop

After every call you get a short text or email: who called, what they needed and what happened. Urgent calls follow your rules: put through to a person or flagged for a callback.

    What it did

    Updates as the call goes

Each action shows up here as it happens.

      Summary sent to you

      Appears when the call ends.

      What you get

Every call answered, and handled the way you want.

      • Answers every call, 24/7

Nights, weekends, holidays, and the busy stretches when nobody can get to the phone.

      • Puts important calls through

Calls that need you are connected to you or your team live, based on rules you set.

      • Takes detailed messages

When nobody's free, it gets the caller's name, number, reason for calling and the best time to call back.

      • Summaries by text or email

A short summary after every call: who called, what they needed and what happened.

      • Urgent calls, your rules

You decide what counts as urgent. Those calls go to a person or come to you flagged for a callback.

      • Answers common questions

Hours, location, services, prices and the questions you hear every day, answered the way you would.

      • Books appointments too

If you take bookings, it checks the calendar you already use, books an open time and texts the caller a confirmation.

      • Done-for-you setup

We build it, test it and adjust it with you, including your greeting and answers. When something changes, you tell us and we update it.

      Who it's for

Built for businesses that run on the phone.

If a missed call usually means a missed job, it's worth a look.

      Where we're starting

      Auto repair and tire shops

When the first snow hits, everyone calls the same week. It answers every call, handles "are you open Saturday?", takes messages, books appointments and puts important calls through while you keep working.

      • Seasonal rush calls answered, not missed
      • Messages and bookings sent straight to you
      • Hours, location and pricing questions

      Heating, plumbing and electrical

A no-heat call at midnight goes to your on-call person. Everything else becomes a clear message, an answer or a booking.

      Salons and barbers

Calls answered while your hands are busy with a client: questions, messages, and appointments booked or moved.

      Offices and clinics

Take care of hours, directions and appointment requests without tying up the front desk. We'll talk through exactly what information should and shouldn't be collected on calls.

      Calculator

What are missed calls costing you?

Use your own numbers. This is a rough estimate to help you think it through, not a promise.

Your best guess, including after-hours calls and ones that went to voicemail while you were busy.

Not every caller turns into a sale. Be conservative.

      %

What a typical job or sale is worth to you, in Canadian dollars.

      $
      Estimated recovered revenue
      $990
      Standard plan
      −$199
      Estimated net gain
      $791/month

      15 missed calls × 33% who would become paying work × $200 average job = $990 a month. Minus $199 for the Standard plan = $791.

At $200 a job, 1 job a month from a call you would have missed covers the Standard plan.

An estimate based on your own numbers. It doesn't include the one-time setup fee or any extra minutes, and actual results will vary.

Here's how it works, without any fine print tricks.

      • Callers know it's an AI

The greeting tells callers they're speaking with an AI assistant. Nobody is misled.

      • Recording consent can be built in

If calls are recorded, the greeting can tell callers before the conversation starts.

      • Every client gets a separate setup

Your greeting, business details and calendar connection are set up for your business alone.

      • Data handling is in writing

How call information is handled is set out in your service agreement, so you can read it before you sign.

      FAQ

      Questions owners ask us.

      Don't see yours? Call (780) 555-0100 or email hello@aspenline.ca.

A clear, natural voice that speaks in full sentences at a normal pace. It uses your greeting and your business details. You'll hear it for yourself on the demo call before you decide anything.

It's set up to stick to what you've told it about your business. When a question falls outside that, it puts the call through if you've asked it to, or takes the caller's name, number and question, lets them know someone will call back, and sends you the details.

You only need one if you want it to book appointments. Answering, messages, live transfers and summaries work without one. If you do want booking, the goal is to work with the calendar or booking system you already use: tell us what you have and we'll confirm whether it connects before you sign up.

We handle the setup for you. Timing depends on how many types of calls you want covered and whether we're connecting a booking system, so we'll give you a clear timeline on the demo call. Your part is one conversation about your business and how you want calls handled.

Yes. You choose which calls get put through live, to you or someone on your team, and when. If nobody's available, it takes a detailed message and sends you a summary so you can call back.

Callers are told up front that they're speaking with an AI. If calls are recorded, consent can be built into the greeting. Each client gets a separate setup, and how data is handled is set out in the service agreement. Ask us anything about it on the demo call.

Minutes are the time the assistant spends on calls for your business. Each plan includes a monthly amount: about 150 on Starter, 400 on Standard and 1,000 on Pro. If you go over, extra minutes are $0.40/min on Starter and Standard, or $0.35/min on Pro.

Cancellation terms are set out in plain language in the service agreement, and we'll go through them with you on the demo call before you commit to anything.

You decide what counts as an emergency, for example an existing client with a problem that can't wait. Those calls are routed to the person you choose. If nobody answers, it takes the details and sends them to you marked urgent. For anything life-threatening, it can tell callers to hang up and dial 911.

No. It covers the calls your team can't get to: after hours, during the rush, or when everyone's busy with customers. Your staff get fewer interruptions, and you start the morning with a list of what came in.
